Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding day. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada. Thanksgiving has its historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, and has long been celebrated in a secular manner as well. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations.

Reflection: This quote means if something is not right don’t do it and if something isn’t true don’t say it. For example, if someone offers you drugs don’t do because it is not right. Also if there is a rumor that isn’t true do no say it.

Dental Assistant

Dental assistant assist the dental operator in providing more efficient dental treatment, by preparing the patient for treatment, sterilizing instruments, passing instruments during the procedure, holding suction devices, exposing dental radiographs, taking impressions, and fabricating provisional crowns.

Duties and Responsibilities: Passing requested instruments to dentist during dental procedures. Polishing clinical crowns. Seating patients in the treatment area and more.

Salary: $33,470 annually, or $16.09 per hour.

Education: Take the DANB, CDA examination program, or have at least two years of on the job training as a dental assistant.

Reflection: I think I will like to become a dental assistant because they pay good money and it seems interesting to help someone out and work with someone’s teeth. But again I wouldn’t like to become a dental assistant and will actually like to be the one getting the assistants from someone else.

Dental lab technician is the art and science of manufacturing corrective devices and replacements for natural teeth. A dental lab technician works closely with dentist, who plans the treatment and places the restoration or corrective devices in the patient’s mouth.

Duties: Plan treatment and places the restoration or corrective devices in the patients mouth.

Salary: About $40,470.

Education: Training through a two-year program at a community college, vocational school, technical college, university or dental school.

Reflection: I would like to become a dental lab technician because I will like to help out with the needs of peoples teeth. Also to make their teeth better. Last, I would like to become a dental lab technician because they get a good amount of money.

Reflection: I think that James Freeman Clark is trying to tell us that some of the choices that you make may impact you and the course of eternity. The impact may be small or big but can always be right or wrong.

Reflection: Veterans Day is a very special day not because we don’t have school but because we thank the U.S soldiers who fought for us. My thoughts about Veterans Day are that is to thank and greet the soldiers who fought for my country.

Reflection: This quote is trying to tell us to have trust in ourselves. Also to do what is right. For example, have courage to say no to something that you know is wrong.

Integrity:the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.

Examples: The boy was integrity and admit he took away his dad's money.

Reflection: What I think this quote is trying to tell is that if you hang out with the bad people something bad may happen to you. But if you hang out with the good people you will get rewarded with good things.

Education: ADTA, Master’s Degree, Four year college degree

Reflection: I will not like to become a dance therapist because I do not like to really dance. Even though the salary is good. Also because it seems boring to what dance therapist do.
