Student Success Statement: Abraham Lincoln

Student Success Statement

“I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”

Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: What the quote means is that we will always loose no matter what. And it’s better to loose and be true than to win and not win fair. Also we must play fair with anyone that we go up against, although you lose or win you must be true and bound to be true.
