Student Success Statement: Dennis Prager

Student Success Statement
“The most important thing you will ever have is good values.”
Dennis Prager

Reflection: What Dennis Prager is telling us is that the most important thing that anyone has is good values. An example of good value is choosing the right. What good values can do to you is be honest, reliable, dependable, loyal and the list goes on.

Reflection: I would like to become an optician and I wouldn’t at the same time like to become an optician. I would like to become an optician because I would like to help patients with their eye car. At the same time I wouldn’t like to become an optician because they don’t get paid a good amount of money.

Student Success Statement: Wilford Woodruff

Student Success Statement
“Nothing is ever gained in doing what’s wrong.”
  Wilford Woodruff

Reflection: What the quote by Wilford Woodruff is saying is that whenever you do wrong you don’t gain anything at all. You don’t gain any power or anything that you can think of. What you just do is wrong and nothing else. There is always a lose in doing wrong.

Nicest Man In The World

The nicest man in the world Patrick Morgan from Florida found an iPad and $13,000 at a bar in Florida. What Patrick did was the best thing in the world. He returned the iPad back to its owner and he also returned the $13,000 that was in the case. When the owner of the iPad got their iPad back by Patrick they gave Patrick $60. Patrick didn't keep the $60 he gave some to a homeless woman and some other to a co-worker of Patrick. Then Patrick at the end got a pay check of $625 for being honest and giving back the iPad and the $13,000. The reward that Patrick got was not just money for choosing the right but he got himself self-esteem, dignity, integrity, and self-respect.

Student Success Statement: Dr. Laura Schlessinger

Student Success Statement
‘The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem.”
Dr. Laura Schlessinger

Reflection: What I think that Dr. Laura Schlessinger is trying to say is that the reward we get when we choose the right is self-respect, dignity, integrity, and self-esteem. But if we choose the wrong we don’t get any self-respect, no dignity, no integrity, and our self-esteem goes down.
