aircraft in top form. Like automotive mechanics, they repair broken and/or worn
out parts.

Education: Need a high school diploma,
attend one of the 170 FAR part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician Schools
nationwide, and 18 months of practical experience with either power plants or
airframes

Reflection: I would like to be an
aircraft mechanic because the job interests me. Also because aircraft mechanics
get paid really good money. Last, because I want to be a mechanic working with
machines.
