Reflection: What Thomas Carlyle means
in this quote is that if you have no goals you will not go the direction you
want like if a boat without a rudder won’t go where you want the boat to go. When
you set a goal you must focus on it till you accomplish is it. Once you set a
goal if you really want to accomplish it then keep on working hard each day to
accomplish it. If you do not work hard on your goals you will just go straight forward
like a boat does without a rudder.
