Biomedical Engineer
Biomedical engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes. This field seeks to close the gap between engineering and medicine. It combines the design and problem solving skills of engineering with medical and biological sciences to advance healthcare treatment, including diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy.
Duties and Responsibilities:  Design and develop medical devices such as artificial hearts and kidneys, pacemakers, artificial hips, surgical lasers, automated patient monitors and blood chemistry sensors.
Salary: $35,301 - $64,528
Education: 4 years post-secondary education/training.


Reflection: I will like to be a biomedical engineer because I like to work on engineering and medicine.  Also because I like what they do this is design and develop medical devices.
